Jose Vigil

Pueblo, CO: Pueblo County Sheriff’s deputies successfully persuaded a 51-year-old man to surrender peacefully Tuesday night after he threatened family members with a knife and then barricaded them inside their St. Charles Mesa area home. No one was injured in the incident.

Deputies responded to the home in the 29000 block of Preston Road at about 10:30 p.m. on the report of a man who was blocking the inside doors to his home following a family disturbance.  While en route, deputies learned that three family members, including a 3-year-old child, were also inside the home. One of the victims reported the suspect, Jose Vigil, was barricading the doors to the home with furniture. The victim also reported Vigil was threatening to cut them with a knife if they attempted to leave.
