Judicial Intake/Booking
The Judicial Intake building located at 501 N. Elizabeth is where the intake/booking process for newly arrested individual's starts. The booking process begins with medical staff checking the new arrival's blood pressure, temperature and checking for any prior injuries. After the inmate has been cleared by the medical staff the Intake Deputy accepts custody of the inmate from the arresting Law Enforcement agency. The Deputies inventory all of the inmate's property to include clothing, personal items and money. The Deputies then take photographs and fingerprints. Detention Specialists complete the booking process by entering the new charges, warrants into the Spillman jail management system and running background information through Colorado Bureau of Investigation systems
